Some small things have been made here, at chez Kudos:

These cards I made to my youngest sibling and mother include origami in a girly way from Cindy Ng's "Girligami", combines with pretty stamps with branch motives. Fun to make!

As everybody else, I'm getting acquainted with Yoshiko Tsukiori's book on dresses and tunics

It's lovely. Me like. I also like Betz White's "Sewing Green", and the latest Burda magazine, in case you are interested.... :)

the sea, the sea

Well folks, after almost 20 years of being a total landlubber, yours truly ventured out to sea finally last week, for a total of 5 days.
The weather could've been better (I think I'm still freezing), but it was great to see some new places and enjoy the sea air. Our route started in Helsinki, and then we headed towards Viipuri and through the Saimaa canal - the boat which we sailed will be spending the summer in Saimaa area.
